The National President, Mr. George Prah, has led a delegation of the Fellowship to pay a courtesy call on His Excellence Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo to congratulate him on winning the December general elections and assure him of the support of the Fellowship in prayers and counsel. After a hearty talk regarding the affairs of the Nation and how it will require the input of every Ghanaian to build the nation, the delegation led prayers for the President and for the future of Ghana and the new government.
…Call on Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur
Earlier, an entourage led by the National President, Mr. George Prah called on Vice President, Dr. Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur to express thanks and appreciation to President John Dramani Mahama and the out-going government for excellent task accomplished during its tenure and assure the n President and his team of the unending prayers of the Fellowship.
A delegation of FGBMFI – Ghana led by the National President, Mr. George Prah, on Tuesday, 20th December, 2016, paid a courtesy call on the new Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rev. Prof. Cephas Narh Omenyo.
The visits was to congratulate him on his elevation to the high of Moderator for the Presby church and also assure him of the support of the Fellowship in any way possible for the spread of the gospel.
The Fellowship took the opportunity to express its willingness to partner with the Churches in ensuring the people in the Body of Christ are not swayed by the current circumstances and happenings in the world.
On his part, Rev. Prof Omenyo thanked the President and the FGBMFI – Ghana for the evident work that the Fellowship is doing and the lives being changed.
The delegation included Messrs. Baba E. Mahama, Ben Nartey, Joseph A. Ockan, J. E. Frimpong, Abraham Asare, and Prof. Tim Acquah-Hayford. The others were Messrs. Maxwell Abu Osae, Enimil Ashon, William Apraku Bodzie, and Sam Mensah.
The NGM is the flagship annual gathering of the leadership of the Fellowship to deliberate, determine and effect policy decision of the Fellowship.
Delegates at the NGM comprise of Chapter representatives (mostly Chapter Presidents or Vice Presidents), Field Representatives, National Directors, Functional Directors, National Advisory Council, and National Executive Committee. On occasions, invitations are made to other persons to attend the NGM as Observers.
The 2017 NGM will take place from Thursday, 19th – Sunday, 22nd January, 2017 at the Windy Lodge Resort, Winneba.
