DISTINGUISHED FOOTPRINTS AWARDS
FGBMFI Ghana believes in the principle that sets apart good people and good deeds in society for emulation. For this reason, FGBMFI has decided to institute an annual award scheme that will recognize and reward our many volunteers and individuals in the larger Ghanaian society, irrespective of their religious background, whose exceptional demonstration of high integrity and public spiritedness has contributed significantly to the general good and peace of our country.
The FGBMFI Ghana Annual Awards Ceremony initiative is meant to address a gap in the administration of the Fellowship. The purpose is to show appreciation for the achievements of individuals and units within the fellowship and a select number of individuals and organizations outside the Fellowship that serve our larger purpose.
The framing of the awards with the caption “Distinguished”, is to recognize Members of the fellowship who have contributed through sacrifice and service to the growth of FGBMFI and as a result, the Kingdom of God.
The ‘Footprints’ symbolize an indelible imprint left as a memorable reminder of the contributions of the distinguished members and to encourage others to also walk with commendable examples.
Although the principal targets of the awards are FGBMFI staff and volunteers, the awards have been given a national flavor by including Churches, and para-church organizations as well as the general body of Ghanaians, who qualify to be awarded.
The awards are therefore in three segments of rewards and recognitions:
Members of the FGBMFI community, including the staff, many volunteers, our external partners,
Churches and Para-church organizations, and members of the general public.
